The roots of this business go back to the opening of Bauh's Carpets in Wilmington in 1973. The owner, Bob Bernard, purchased the company in 1990 and then acquired Boulevard Carpets in 2004. Hence the name B&B Carpets. Both businesses specialized in flooring for property management companies, and B&B continued with that business model. Although that is their primary focus, B&B still provides the same excellent quality and service for homeowners and commercial property owners. All our customers get the product and service at property management prices. And we do it with the same fast turn around time! Bob began in the flooring business as an installer in upstate New York. When he came to California in the early '80s, he installed in San Diego County and quickly became a supervisor, largely due to an eye for detail and a strong work ethic. Because of this, Bob demands high standards from all of the crews that he dispatches 5 days a week.
